Who we are..?

The D.R. Shanmukappa Charitable Trust was established to honor the legacy of Late Mr. D.R. Shanmukappa, a revered social activist, agriculturist, and philanthropist from Doddagaddavalli. His life was a beacon of service and sacrifice, inspiring generations to prioritize community welfare.

Founded by his fifth daughter, Mrs. Preethi, and supported by her family, the trust reflects the values instilled by Mr. Shanmukappa and his wife, Mrs. Yashoda, an entrepreneur with a nurturing spirit. The trust’s name also resonates with "SCT," symbolizing Lord Vishnu, the eternal sustainer who calmly embraces duality.
