Armed Forces Career Guidance Programme
Empowering Youth to Serve the Nation
The Armed Forces Career Guidance Programme is a joint initiative by D.R. Shanmukhappa Charitable Trust and All Uniform Training Academy (AUTA), created to inspire, guide, and prepare young Indians for rewarding careers in the nation’s defence services.
Our mission is simple — to inform, inspire, and empower youth to explore opportunities in the Indian Armed Forces with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

About Armed Forces Career Guidance Programme

Founded on the principles of compassion, trust, and service, the Trust has consistently worked towards creating meaningful impact in the lives of women, youth, and underprivileged sections of society.

Who We Are
Our Programme
In a landmark collaboration, D.R. Shanmukhappa Charitable Trust and AUTA have launched a focused career guidance programme to introduce students — especially young women — to the vast and honourable opportunities available in the Indian Armed Forces, including the prestigious AUTA – All Uniform Training Academy and other defence career pathways.
This programme is designed to bridge the information gap that prevents many deserving students, particularly from smaller towns and rural backgrounds, from considering a career in national defence. Through structured seminars, motivational sessions, and hands-on guidance, we equip students with the knowledge, confidence, and direction they need to serve the nation in uniform.
Our recent session at Jindal College for Women stands as a strong example of this initiative in action — where young women were introduced to the realities of armed forces careers, the discipline and pride it entails, and the concrete steps required to pursue it.
