Dr. R. Shanmukappa Charitable Trust – Educational Support Initiative

As part of its ongoing commitment to the welfare of children and the promotion of education, Dr. R. Shanmukappa Charitable Trust organized an educational support and student welfare programme at the Government School, Mattajanahalli, the last village of Sandur Taluk in Ballari District, catering to students from Classes 1 to 7.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by a member of the school faculty. This was followed by inspiring speeches from Smt. Shakuntala, Trustee of the Trust, Smt. Indira, and Smt. Preethi Patel DS, President of the Trust, who encouraged the students to pursue education with dedication, discipline, and confidence. The Headmaster of the school also addressed the gathering and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Trust for its generous support.
The Trust distributed sports shirts, sports pants, notebooks, geometry boxes, writing stationery, and biscuits to all the students from Classes 1 to 7. The children received the educational kits with great joy and enthusiasm, making the programme a memorable occasion for everyone present.
As a gesture of appreciation, the school staff felicitated Smt. Preethi, President of Dr. R. Shanmukappa Charitable Trust, in recognition of the Trust's dedicated service towards the welfare of children and society. The Trust, in turn, honoured the Headmaster of the school for his sincere commitment to education and student development.
The programme concluded successfully with a vote of thanks, reaffirming the Trust's mission to empower children through education and to extend support to rural and underserved communities.
